De acordo com as especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do modelo 3D da pe\u00e7a, utiliza-se o desenho assistido por computador e seguem-se v\u00e1rias diretrizes de moldagem por inje\u00e7\u00e3o para conceber o molde para a pe\u00e7a a fabricar. Em seguida, \u00e9 fabricado em duas partes, normalmente utilizando maquinagem CNC. O molde \u00e9 feito de metal (principalmente a\u00e7o ou alum\u00ednio).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Etapa 2- Inje\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><br>As metades separadas do molde s\u00e3o colocadas na unidade de fixa\u00e7\u00e3o da m\u00e1quina de moldagem por inje\u00e7\u00e3o e mantidas firmemente unidas atrav\u00e9s desta unidade de fixa\u00e7\u00e3o. Introduzir as mat\u00e9rias-primas num barril sob a forma de part\u00edculas ou pequenas bolas e aquec\u00ea-las no barril a alta temperatura e press\u00e3o at\u00e9 derreterem. O material que est\u00e1 atualmente em estado fundido \u00e9 imediatamente injetado na cavidade do molde, preenchendo todo o espa\u00e7o do molde. Em seguida, arrefece e solidifica para dar a forma do molde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Etapa 3- Desmoldagem e acabamento<\/strong><br>Depois de o material estar completamente arrefecido e curado, o molde \u00e9 aberto por um dispositivo de fixa\u00e7\u00e3o e as pe\u00e7as acabadas curadas s\u00e3o ejectadas. Efetuar algumas opera\u00e7\u00f5es de p\u00f3s-processamento nos componentes acabados.
